Classic Yass ... a Celebration of Community

CLASSIC YASS had it's origins in 2009 when three seperate events – the YASSarts Arts Trail, Celebration of Heritage Motoring and the Yass Red Cross Open Gardens - decided to pool their resources and create one big event ranging over the entire Yass Valley Shire. In 2010 the Rotary Club of Yass came on board by staging the inaugural Rotary Billy Cart Derby and CLASSIC YASS was born! 

CLASSIC YASS is staged on the first weekend of November each year and just keeps getting better and better.   It's a true celebration of a country community and a weekend not to be missed! CLASSIC YASS is convened by Yass Chamber of Commerce and proudly supported by Yass Valley Council and the Yass Valley Development Corporation.
